One thing that I love about the month of June is that the wild blackberries growing around our little farm are ripening! They are absolutely gorgeous, and they taste so good. The picture below was taken of the blackberries right next to our driveway, the one in the middle so plump and almost ready to pick.
This next photo is of one of the beautiful flowers by the front porch. I don’t know the proper name of this lovely red bloom, but I thinks it’s a lily of some sort.
And these tiny white blooms tend to grow anywhere in the yard!
Yesterday was spent at the Somerset Plantation in Creswell, NC. There were several blossoms that I thought would be nice in a photograph, so if I wasn’t knitting I was walking around taking pictures of the lovely flowers or looking for an interesting angle.
I hope you have enjoyed this post!
